FIRST PRIZE BEST OTHER MEDIUM (NOT OIL OR WATERCOLOUR) THE FLEMINGTON ART SHOW 2019
Art is such a personal expression, for the viewer as much as the artist. As a creative and consumer, I fit into both shoes. While I have quite a broad appreciation for artworks of all genres and mediums, I also don’t like a lot… am I allowed to say that out loud (my keystrokes are quite aggressively audible)? For a creative I have what I think is a fairly broad shoulders and level head for the swings and roundabouts. A total appreciation for the varied tastes and that my work might not be to the taste of all. So, when I found out that my work resonated with the judge at the Flemington Art Show 2019, the news was met with pure joy (resulting in a happy dance).
